John Lithgow is unconcerned about his long-term role as Albus Dumbledore in the upcoming HBO Harry Potter television series.
Speaking on the Smartless podcast, the 79-year-old actor expressed his belief that the work will not be “that hard.”
Lithgow acknowledged that he is now reading Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, the second book in the J.K. Rowling series.
“The overall concept of this entire reboot of Harry Potter is an entire season is devoted to a single novel,” he explained to hosts Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett.
He responded when asked how long he anticipated staying in London for the filming.
