After 11 years, fashion designer Jonathan Anderson has resigned as creative director of the upscale Spanish fashion brand Loewe.
In addition to being the creator of his own label, JW Anderson, Anderson hails from Magherafelt in County Londonderry.
He is renowned for his avant-garde designs and gender-neutral fashions. He has produced several classic outfits, such as the outfit that singer Rihanna wore during her Super Bowl halftime performance.
“I’ve been fortunate enough to be surrounded by people who have the imagination, the skills, the tenacity, and the resourcefulness to find a way to say ‘yes’ to all my wildly ambitious ideas,” Anderson wrote in an Instagram post.
