Lawyers have been debating how much Rebekah Vardy ought to contribute to Mrs. Rooney’s expenses ever after she lost their 2022 libel case.
The other side had “deliberately understated” their charge at first, according to Mrs. Vardy’s staff, so that the apparent disparity could be exploited to attack her expenses.
They said that “serious misconduct” was the basis for lowering the amount she was had to pay.
Mrs Rooney’s lawyers refuted the charge, and on Tuesday a court agreed.
