In addition to Justice Salahuddin and Justice Shakeel Ahmed, the Judicial Commission has added Justice Hashim Kakar, Justice Aamer Farooq, and Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim to the constitutional bench.
To consider judicial appointments, the Judicial Commission met under the direction of Justice Yahya Afridi, the Chief Justice of Pakistan.
In order to select more judges, the panel examined the names of eight session judges. In addition to Jazeela Aslam, Tariq Mehmood Bajwa, Shahida Saeed, and Akbar Gul Khan, the candidates taken into consideration were Raja Ghazanfar Ali Khan, Qaiser Nazir Butt, Akmal Khan, and Tanveer Ahmed Sheikh.
