ISLAMABAD: According to The News on Thursday, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah, the senior puisne judge of the Supreme Court, has resigned from his post as a SC administrative judge.
It has come to light that Justice Mansoor declined to sign routine administrative documents that were presented to him for approval, claiming to have resigned from his position as the administrative judge of the highest court.
It is important to note that the senior-most apex court judge was given administrative judge responsibilities by previous Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa.
Since he freely airs his views on a number of issues of judicial relevance, especially the 26th Constitutional Amendment pertaining to judicial reforms, Justice Mansoor has been in the spotlight for a considerable amount of time.
