ISLAMABAD: With multiple applications against the 26th Constitutional Amendment still pending before the highest court, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah, the Supreme Court’s puisne judge, has requested that the Judicial Commission of Pakistan’s (JCP) meeting, which was set for tomorrow (Friday), be postponed.

According to the senior puisne judge, on December 6, the JCP, which was established by the 26th Constitutional Amendment, met to discuss nominations for the appointment of new judges to the Sindh High Court and the Peshawar High Court.
