Vice President Kamala Harris criticized Republican stances on public education and gun control during the American Federation of Teachers’ 88th National Convention on Thursday in Houston, Texas.
This federation is the first labor organization to support Harris for president in the upcoming elections once the campaign was announced.
According to News, the 59-year-old brought up Project 2025, a think group connected to Donald Trump, during his speech. She emphasized that this demonstrates the Republican Party’s willingness to enact dictatorial laws once in control.
