KARACHI/QUETTA: According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department’s (PMD) forecast on Monday, Karachi’s weather is expected to stay clear with sporadic strong winds, while other parts of the nation experienced heavy rain and snowfall.
In Punjab, moderate to heavy rainfall was recorded in a number of locations in Multan, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Lahore.
In Balochistan, Qila Abdullah, Pishin, Saranan, Gulistan, Huramzai, Muslim Bagh, Sinjawi, Duki, Harnai, Loralai, Mekhtar, Khanozai, also had moderate to heavy rains.
While Ziarat, Toba Achakzai, and Toba Kakri experienced snowfall, the regions close to the nation’s borders with Afghanistan and Iran also experienced hail.
As a result of the rain and snowfall in the region, the weather in most districts of Balochistan, including Quetta, is expected to be partially cloudy and cold.
