KARACHI: According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the port city is expected to see more intense heat and humidity on Friday.
The Met Office predicts that Karachi will have hot and muggy weather over the next 24 hours, with certain areas including the city’s suburbs expecting rain and thunder.
According to PMD, the city’s temperature will probably range from 36°C to 38°C with 69% humidity in the air.
According to the Met Office, there is a greater likelihood of rain today than there was yesterday, and thunderstorms may develop in the city after 1pm.
There won’t be a sea breeze today due to low air pressure, PMD stated.
There is low pressure in the Arabian Sea close to the Indian state of Gujarat, a meteorological expert told News.
“Rain likely in many areas of Sindh including Karachi under the influence of low pressure,” stated the meteorologist.
Residents of Karachi were able to escape the oppressive heat a day earlier thanks to some much-needed rain that fell in several areas of the city.
