KARACHI: On Thursday, the second fire incident in as many weeks occurred in a multi-story structure on MA Jinnah Road in the port city.
A flat on the first floor of the multi-story building, Rimpa Plaza, which also houses a number of commercial offices, is where the fire started, according to fire department sources.
According to the sources, a fire tender assisted in bringing the fire under control after numerous fire department cars and snorkels were sent out shortly after it was discovered.
Thankfully, there were no reported fatalities from the incident.
Notably, the Thursday incident occurred just over two weeks after the building had another fire earlier this month.
