KARACHI, PESHAWAR: As the temperature drops to single digits once more, residents of Sindh’s port city, which is known for its brief winters, continue to struggle under the current cold wave.
The city’s temperature was 9.5 degrees Celsius, with 41% humidity and northwest winds of 8 km/h.
This is the second time in the current month that Karachi’s temperature has been below 10°C. The lowest temperature at the Jinnah Terminal was 9.1°C, according to previous records from the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
A temperature dip of 3°C to 4°C at night was predicted by the Met Office earlier this week, along with sporadic high winds across the city.
