KARACHI: Following the submission of a “reconciliation agreement” between the families, a district and sessions court on Thursday cleared a female motorist in a murder case filed against her for “killing” two people in an accident on Karsaz Road.
On August 19, the suspect’s opulent car struck several other cars close to the Pakistan Maritime Museum in Karachi, killing a young woman and an old man.
Aamna Arif, age 26, and Imran Arif, age 60, were recognized as the father and daughter who perished in the disaster.
Following a compromise between the two sides, the sessions court granted the female driver’s bail.
On September 6, the suspect was granted bail in the murder case after being pardoned by the victims’ relatives.
