The deadline for paying bills for the months of July and August has been extended by K-Electric (KE), the only power provider in the city.
The decision complies with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s directions, which aim to alleviate the burden on the public by extending the deadline for paying electricity bills by ten days.
A representative for the business states that customers have until August 10 to pay their payments.
The representative stated, “Those who submit their bills with a late payment surcharge will be adjusted next month.”
This revised deadline will also be in effect for the following month, when KE customers will have until September 10 to settle their bills.
