Travis Kelce, a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, acknowledges that he has no idea if his brother Jason, a center for the Philadelphia Eagles, will replicate his shirtless celebration in the stands this weekend during the Super Bowl.
Once the Chiefs defeated the Buffalo Bills, a video showing Jason jumping out of his suite and into the crowd to celebrate with Travis went viral. Jason was not wearing a shirt.
Before the Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday on Opening Night of Super Bowl week, Travis made a joke about how astonished he was, along with everyone else, by Jason’s antics in Buffalo.
“He just loves playing football; that’s who he is. Since we were young children, we have loved and desired this game, and it just radiates from us.
“And sure enough, traveling up there and experiencing such a great fan base as Buffalo was enjoyable. However, I’m not sure if the Las Vegas mob will compel him to remove his shirt.”
Travis’ brother Jason will once again be watching from the stands as he makes his decision regarding retirement this offseason, even though Travis is currently scheduled to play the 49ers in the Super Bowl on Sunday.
Due to his connection with pop singer Taylor Swift, Travis was the center of attention on Super Bowl media day.
Football fans were shocked to learn that NFL commissioner Roger Goodell had applauded Travis’s connection.
“There are benefits to having the Taylor Swift impact as well. Taylor and Travis are both amazing young individuals. While many NFL fans have been enthralled with the Kelce-Swift romance, which has increased engagement and merchandise sales, prominent individuals such as NFL Hall of Famer Tony Dungy have asserted that Swift causes fans to become “disenchanted” with games.
