Kendrick Lamar has acknowledged that he finds it “extremely difficult” to “live in the past.”
In preparation for his appearance at Sunday’s Super Bowl halftime show, the 37-year-old legendary rapper—who has already become the first to win five Grammy awards for a single diss track—is considering concentrating on his more recent work.
“It’s kind of wild and interesting, because it lets you know where you’re at and your perspective on how you think about cataloging the music,” the Not Like Us singer said during an Apple Music pre-game news conference.
“I enjoy being in the moment. Man, I enjoy being here. Living in the past is really difficult for me.
