Prince William and Kate Middleton’s London home, Kensington Palace, the working royal house, was abruptly shut down.
Historic Royal Palaces issued the warning over the weekend.
“Due to Storm Bert, there are a number of closures across our sites on Sunday, 24 November,” the Historic Royal Palaces reported on X, their former Twitter handle. Please visit our website to learn more about the gardens at Hampton Court Palace and Hillsborough Castle, while Kensington Palace is closed today.
Following a terrible warning, Kensington Palace closed.
Meanwhile, AFP reports that storm Bert’s powerful winds and torrential rains pounded most of Britain once more on Sunday, resulting in “devastating” flooding, particularly in Wales, and that approximately 100 flood alarms were issued across the country.
