An informant alleges that Kevin Costner “always suspected” his ex-wife Christine Baumgartner of having an affair with Josh Connor, months after their divorce settlement was finalized.
The mother-of-three revealed her affair with the banker earlier this month, which is when the tip came from.
The 69-year-old actor was quite suspicious that “something was going on between Christine and Josh,” according to a source who spoke with US Weekly. The source also said that the couple’s “close bond was a real elephant in the room.”
Citing “irreconcilable differences,” Christine and Kevin filed for divorce in May 2023, ending their 19-year marriage.
She was seen with Josh later in July 2023 while on vacation in Hawaii, but Kevin insisted he “does not know for a fact” whether his divorced wife had adulterous affairs.
Daily Mail-exclusive sources claim that Christine and Josh’s romance has been “going on for some time” because they celebrated Christmas together in New York City the previous year.
“They’re together and have been for a while,” the insider stated. While Kevin was probably in Aspen with the kids, they spent time together in Hawaii prior to Christmas.
