ISLAMABAD Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has said that the talks between the government and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have concluded “inconclusively” because its leader, former first lady Bushra Bibi, “can smell blood and is in no mood to compromise” amid rumors of such talks.
Speaking on the “Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Kay Sath” show on Geo News, the PML-N leader stated, “She [Bushra] knows she is close to D-Chowk and has become a leader […] she will press the advantage she has.”
The authorities was forced, he said, “to use force” against the demonstrators attempting to enter Islamabad. “They [PTI] believe they have an advantage and will keep marching on [Islamabad],” he stated.
