On Thursday, Khawaja Asif, the minister of defense, responded to Ali Amin Gandapur, the chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, who said that direct negotiations with Afghanistan are possible.
During the National Assembly Session, Asif voiced his opinions as follows: “Gandapur’s declaration to initiate direct talks with Afghanistan is equivalent to attacking the Federation. It was necessary to make this declaration.”

“The respect is self-made, and the outsider cannot do it,” he maintained.
