Nine road projects in the districts of Bhakkar and Khushab, totaling Rs 960 million, have been approved by the Divisional Development Working Party.
The choice was decided on Wednesday during a meeting presided over by Jahanzeb Awan, the commissioner of the Sargodha division.
The conference approved two projects for Khushab, worth Rs250 million, and seven projects for Bhakkar, expected to cost Rs715 million in road building and repairs.
All of the programs have reportedly received full financing, and this year is when they are supposed to be finished.
The commissioner emphasized that in order to guarantee the viability of all development projects, deputy commissioners must personally oversee each one. He gave officials instructions to let contractors know that they would not be allowed to deviate from the approved blueprints.
