The Khyber District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Landi Kotal ancient railway station has been fully restored by the Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps North. This program is a part of ongoing efforts to protect the area’s national cultural sites.
Established in 1925, the railway station was vital to military operations before to Pakistan’s independence. In addition to restoring the station, the restoration project turned it into a museum, maintaining its historical relevance.
The repaired and refurbished railway station was officially opened by the Inspector General of Frontier Corps North. The Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps North have been commended by the locals for their efforts in maintaining this national treasure monument.
