According to FIA officials, the Anti-Human Trafficking and Smuggling Cell carried out the raids in response to public complaints alleging that Haj operators in Landi Kotal, tour and travel agencies, and other parties were engaged in unlawful human smuggling.
According to the officials, three individuals—Muhahid Khan, Shamsur Rehman, and Muhammad Faheem—were taken into custody when they were unable to present any licenses or other official documentation pertaining to their travel and tour company.
In addition, the authorities claimed to have filed formal complaints (FIRs) against the detained individuals and taken at least ten Pakistani passports from the three travel businesses.
According to the officials, these travel agencies were also operating without a license to promote foreign jobs and were forcibly transporting unemployed kids from the area to other nations after embezzling large sums of money from them.
