In the southern part of Khan Younis city, Palestinian rebels and Israeli troops are engaged in fierce combat.
Israeli tanks are reportedly firing close to the Maghazi and Bureij refugee camps in central Gaza, according to the Palestinian news agency Safa.
Local journalist Doaa El-Baz played footage of the street where she used to reside while she was in the Nuseirat refugee camp. “This entire neighborhood has been devastated. Standing in front of piles of debris, she declared, “Not a single house has been spared.”
Here, they destroyed all of our hopes. The home in which I was raised and spent my entire youth,” El-Baz murmured, her voice quivering.
