Following his recent directives to the British Navy to rename the submarine HMS Agincourt, King Charles has come under heavy fire.
King Charles’ most recent action has been described as “pathetic.”
The Sun said that the nuclear-powered submarine, which is currently under construction, was given the new name HMS Achilles this week.
In response to King Charles’ most recent decision, former British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace said the approval demonstrates a “pathetic grasp of foreign policy.”
Furthermore, Rear Admiral Chris Parry, a former NATO commander, described it as “craven political correctness and ideology gone mad.”
“We are proud of our nation’s rich military history and the many famous battles fought,” a Royal Navy official said in response to the decision.
