Following the controversy surrounding his beloved daughter-in-law Kate Middleton’s Mother’s Day portrait, the royal family has issued King Charles’ first snapshot.
The palace posted a photo of the monarch meeting Commonwealth Secretary-General Baroness Scotland of Asthal on Wednesday.
King Charles, 75, welcomed Baroness at Buckingham Palace two days after missing the Commonwealth Day service because to his cancer diagnosis.
During their visit in the palace, Charles can be seen smiling and shaking hands with the diplomat.
The palace captioned the photo with: “This afternoon at Buckingham Palace, The King received @Commonwealth_Sec, the Baroness Scotland of Asthal.”
