According to creator Steven Knight, Peaky Blinders will go on beyond the next movie, which has led to speculation about a possible new series.
The film’s current state, he told News Breakfast on Tuesday, is “fantastic” and would be “a very fitting way to end this part of the Peaky story.”
Presenters Jon Kay and Sarah Campbell asked Knight what he meant by “this portion,” and he responded, “Let’s just say that it’s not over. I’m not allowed to make the announcement, but I’m just stating that Peaky’s world will go on.”
The producer and writer went on the show to promote A Thousand Blows, a new period drama on Disney+ that stars Stephen Graham.
