In the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on Tuesday, supporters of two members from opposing parties got into a brawl because they would not stand a PTI-P member accusing a cabinet member of corruption.
As Shahab Uddin of Aaj News described the conditions inside the assembly hall, it was hard to hear anything.
Iqbal Wazir, a PTI parliamentarian from South Waziristan, and Nek Muhammad Dawar, the special assistant to the KP chief minister on relief, have been fighting for the past two days over the former’s accusations of corruption against the latter.
Nek Muhammad’s supporters, seated in the assembly gallery on Tuesday, threatened Wazir and spoke derogatorily of him.
