The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa administration has said that its plan to provide relief packages for Ramadan and Eid will continue.
Muhammad Ali Saif, adviser to the KP chief minister on information, told reporters on Thursday that the package is to give financial support to worthy families throughout the province during the holy months of Ramadan and Eid.
Each qualifying family will receive Rs 10,000 as part of the relief package under this project.
According to estimates from the regional government, the aid will help more than 1 million worthy households. “Banks and Easypaisa will be used to distribute the aid in a transparent manner, and the entire process is expected to be finished by Ramadan 15.”
The provincial administration has “decided to cover all bank and disbursement charges” in order to guarantee that beneficiaries receive the entire amount.
