PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur declared Monday that the provincial government would deal harshly with those who are impeding peace in Kurram and that head money was set on criminals in order to stabilize the area.
Despite warring tribes signing a peace agreement last month after horrific hostilities that took multiple lives, miscreants continued to spread terror in the restive region by targeting government officials and humanitarian convoys.
Three days ago, Boshehra Assistant Commissioner Saeed Manan was wounded in an incident in Upper Kurram after unknown individuals opened fire on him.
