According to documents obtained by Geo News, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and other provinces pay their police officers significantly different salaries.
The documents show that the Inspector General (IG) of Balochistan receives a monthly pay that is Rs369,498 more than that of the IG of KP, while the income of a Balochistani Superintendent of Police (SP) is Rs221,196 more than that of a KP SP.
According to the documents, the pay of Additional Inspectors General (AIG) and Senior Superintendents of Police (SSP) in Balochistan and KP varied by Rs281,177. Additionally, there is a Rs306,474 salary discrepancy between the Deputy Inspectors General (DIG) of the two provinces.
