According to authorities on Friday, the bodies of four out of five drivers who vanished following yesterday’s terrorist attack on an aid convoy in the unrest-plagued Kurram province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were discovered in Aravali.
The ambush by the terrorists targeted a convoy of 33 cars that were scheduled to deliver crucial medicine to two relief vehicles and rice, flour, and cooking oil to local traders in the Kurram district.
The bodies of the drivers have been moved to Lower Kurram Alizai Hospital for medico-legal procedures, according to police officials.
Furthermore, since yesterday, at least six dead have been discovered in Kurram’s Bagan neighborhood, according to police sources.
Officials revealed earlier today that two security guards had been killed in the terrorist incident.
