After scoring in a 3-0 La Liga victory over Leganes on Sunday, French football star Kylian Mbappe feels he is finally catching up to his Real Madrid teammates.
Before scoring the first goal against Leganes, Mbappe, who had been a key attacking player since signing from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), went four games without scoring in any competition.
After being shifted back to his preferred left-wing position, the 25-year-old made good contact with fellow forward Vinicius Jr., who assisted Mbappe in scoring.
“I read Vinicius extremely well, and vice versa. After the victory, Mbappe told Real Madrid TV, “I have a great relationship with him and he’s a great player.”
