Due to the large number of birds that surround the airport during the monsoon season, Lahore Airport administration has decided to close the airport for three hours every day.
The Lahore Airport’s two runways will be blocked from 5 to 8 a.m.
Lahore Airport is scheduled to close from July 10 to September 10. Through NOTIM, CAA notified both domestic and international airlines.
According to Godin’s 1994 publication, there are differences in bird risks among airports as well as variations in bird occurrence based on weather, season, availability of habitat, and time of day.
