According to media sources, a lady posing as an assistant superintendent of police (ASP) was taken into custody in Lahore after showing up at a police station in a fictitious outfit.
The woman tried to ask for a “officer” to be called outside, saying she needed to speak with them. She had come to the workplace dressed as a police officer but with expensive shoes on.
Her improper footwear caused security personnel to get suspicious, and they started questioning her. During the investigation, the impostor was unable to produce any documentation to back up her statements.
The woman was arrested by the Civil Lines police, who also filed a complaint against her. The impersonator resides in Defence, according to the police, and an inquiry was underway.
