While receiving medical examinations at Services Hospital, a prisoner from Lahore’s Camp Jail broke out.
Ahsan, the prisoner, was taken to the hospital for a CT scan because, according to jail officials, he was mentally unstable. He was in Sheikhupura, facing charges of sectarianism.
A police squad headed by Sub-Inspector Khalid, who oversees the police’s judicial branch, and four other officers took Ahsan to the hospital. By pushing past the police, the prisoner was able to get away.
