According to Lance Bass, there have been talks about the renowned boy band NSYNC getting back together. The singer revealed to host Ankur Jain that the trio is discussing getting back together and that they hope to hear good news soon as they were playing the game Rent Free.
Bass said, “Give us a little more time than that,” implying that it probably wouldn’t happen on January 1st as the presenter had mockingly stated.
The 44-year-old stated, “We are talking about it and I hope to have some good news at some point.”
It had been over 23 years since the artist and his former bandmates had recorded new music together, so he said it was incredible to be back in the studio for the Trolls movie.
“Trolls was fantastic. It felt good to work with those guys again in the studio. It’s been a great time,” he remarked.
NSYNC gained popularity in the 1990s and then took a break after releasing their last album in 2001. A screening of Trolls: Band Together was attended by Justin Timberlake, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, Bass, and JC Chasez last month.
The band members voiced a variety of roles in the movie. Additionally, they worked together on the soundtrack’s “Better Place” song.
Longtime supporters were overjoyed when NSYNC surprised everyone by performing together at the MTV Video Music Awards in September.
