Lawrence Gowan, the keyboardist and singer for Styx, related the “dark story” of a startling meeting he had with a fan.
This summer, the 67-year-old native of Canada will travel alongside Styx and Foreigner on the Renegades & Juke Box Heroes Tour. In an interview with News before to the tour, Gowan and Foreigner vocalist Kelly Hansen, 63, talked about some of the wildest experiences they have had over the years meeting fans.
Gowan laughed and remarked, “Some of them can get a little bit psychotic.” “So, I want to be careful with that because I take that seriously.”

“Well, it’s not a Styx song, but I had a lengthy solo career before I joined Styx. My albums were distributed in Canada, and I had a hit song called “The Criminal Mind.” Gowan said, “Styx performed the song. “We’ll play it when we play Toronto on this upcoming tour.”
“I used to have a man. I was sitting next to him in an airport. “You know, you wrote that song “A Criminal Mind,” he remarked, leaning over.
