According to Carine Girac-Marinier, head of the department of dictionaries and encyclopaedias, several “reflect concerns, developments or strong movements this year,” as reported by the French weekly magazine Le Point.
This year, Beyonce’s single Texas Hold ‘Em album Cowboy Carter broke records.
She became the first black woman to hit number one on the US country chart with Texas Hold ‘Em.
