Chaudhary Rehmat Ali Memorial Trust Lahore and Chaudhary Rehmat Ali Forum Lahore are hosting a seminar to memorialize and honor Pakistan Muslim League leader Chaudhary Rehmat Ali.
The seminar will begin at 4 p.m. on February 29 – Thursday.
The lecture will feature notable media and academic celebrities sharing their opinions.
Two books about Chaudhry Rehmat Ali will also be launched at the event.
Professor (rtd) Zaid Bin Umar, President of the Chaudhry Rehmat Ali Forum Lahore, and Khalid Mehmood Rasool, Secretary General of the Chaudhry Rehmat Ali Memorial Trust, Township Lahore, invited attendees to the memorial seminar.
Who was Chaudhary Rehmat Ali?
The founder of Pakistan National Movement, Chaudhry Rehmat Ali, is credited with establishing the name “Pakistan” for a separate Muslim homeland in British sub-continent.
He was born into a Muslim family in Hoshiarpur District of Indian Punjab in 1895, and after graduating from Islamia Madrassa Lahore in 1918, he taught at Aitchison College Lahore before joining Punjab University to study law.
