In coordination with the civil government and other organizations, the Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan (North) is in charge of organizing rescue and relief operations in Balochistan’s flood-affected areas.
The districts of Qilla Saifullah, Chaman, and the adjacent areas have experienced major flooding as a result of the recent heavy rainfall, severely damaging the local populations. The most severely affected places are Ghari in Qilla Saifullah, Akhtar Zai, Basu Khel, and Ali Khel.
In order to relocate the impacted populace to safer areas, the FC Balochistan (North) has collaborated closely with the civil authorities. The flood victims have received relief supplies like blankets, tents, and ration bags.
In addition, mudslides at the Sariab Bagh area have stopped the railway route between Quetta and Chaman.
