He is charged with stabbing the girl “eight times” after seizing her in downtown London when she was with her mother.
Pintaru, a Romanian national without a known residence, “approached the girl, placed her into a headlock, then stabbed her eight times to the body,” according to testimony given on Tuesday before the Westminster Magistrates’ Court.
The youngster needed plastic surgery, according to prosecutor David Burns, who also informed the court that she had wounds to her face, shoulder, wrist, and neck.Pintaru has been placed on custody remand. The Old Bailey will host his next appearance on September 10th.
