Terrorists attacked a security checkpoint in the Kalat area of Balochistan, killing one levies personnel and wounding two others.
A provincial government spokeswoman stated that the authorities involved opened investigations into the insurgents’ attack after the terrorists left the area following retaliatory fire from the courageous levies troops.
The official further stated that the corpse of the deceased and the injured staff had been taken to a Quetta hospital for medico-legal procedures and medical care.
To get rid of any more terrorists they might find there, the security officers roped off the area and began a search.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, meanwhile, vehemently denounced the terrorist attack on the Levies checkpoint in Kalat.
