A plaque honoring Liam Payne has been placed on Somerset, UK’s Celvedon Pier.
The official Clevedon Pier account announced the news of the late artist’s UK honor on X, formerly known as Twitter, and displayed a plaque honoring the musician, which has a unique connection to One Direction.
Inscribed on the plaque is the following: “Remembering Liam Payne—One Direction. 29.08.1993–16.10.2024.”
According to the band Walking in the Wind, “If you’re lost, just look for me; you’ll find me in the region of the summer stars,” it said.
“We are happy to share that there is now a plaque in memory of Liam Payne on Clevedon Pier,” the account wrote as the description for the photo.
