The former prime minister of Great Britain chastised the US president for his “rhetoric” surrounding Mr. Trump, who escaped an attempted murder this past weekend, in an interview with News’ James Matthews in Milwaukee.
She claimed, however, that she was “not prepared to draw the line” between Mr. Biden’s words and the gunman’s purpose, in contrast to many right-wing politicians and pundits.
The shooting at one of Mr. Trump’s rallies on Saturday left one audience member dead and two more critically injured. Mr. Trump only received minor injuries.

She demanded a “full investigation into what happened” and stated that there “seems to have been a failure to properly protect” Mr. Trump.

She continued by saying that it was “reminiscent” of Margaret Thatcher, another former prime minister, who continued to address the party conference even after the IRA bombed her Brighton hotel in 1984.
