The singer of About Damn Time gained notoriety last week when she wrote, “I didn’t sign up for this shit,” at the end of an Instagram post. She said she was being “dragged by everyone in my life and on the internet,” so she gave up.
She went on: “I’ve accomplished even more than I could have imagined if I can inspire or motivate even one person to stand up for themselves and say they quit letting negative people win and negative comments win.”
Having stated that, I’m going to keep going forward and remaining true to who I am.
The Grammy Award winner expressed her gratitude to the public for their support, saying, “It means more than you know.”
Former dancers Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams, and Noelle Rodriguez sued Lizzo, whose true name is Melissa Viviane Jefferson, in August of last year, claiming that she had harassed them sexually and fostered a toxic work environment.
