Since August 20, security forces have conducted several continuing intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in the Tirah valley of the Khyber region, killing at least 25 terrorists, including a ring commander, the military’s media wing said on Tuesday.
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reports that the security forces are carrying out “extensive IBOs” in the Tirah Valley in opposition to militant groups “Laskar-e-Islam and Jamat-ul-Ahrar” and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), which is known as Fitna-Al-Khwarij.
It claimed that these actions, which were founded on solid intelligence, severely damaged Fitna-Al-Khwarij and its allies.
Since August 20, the security forces have carried out intelligence-based operations that have resulted in the deaths of 25 terrorists, including Abuzar, also known as Saddam.
But four troops bravely gave their lives in battle and chose to become martyrs, according to the ISPR.
