Deputy Commissioner Captain (r) Aurangzeb Haider Khan has announced that August 31, 2024, will be observed as a local holiday in honor of the Urs of the esteemed Sufi poet and scholar Hazrat Bulleh Shah.
This festival falls on the same day as the Urs celebration, which starts on August 30 and lasts for three days.
Residents of the Kasur district will have the day off on Saturday, according to an official announcement from the DC Kasur. This will enable them to take part in the comprehensive cultural and spiritual events that honor this momentous anniversary.
