On Saturday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced the opening of a cancer hospital in DG Khan and reiterated his pledge to reduce electricity costs.
The premier also disclosed intentions to construct a university in Rajanpur while speaking to a crowd.
According to the prime minister, the federal government is dedicated to achieving consistent progress and prosperity across the board, including uplifting underdeveloped regions like south Punjab by launching an extensive network of development initiatives.
The premier highlighted economic success, noting that interest rates had decreased from 22% to 12% and inflation has decreased from 40% to 2.4%. He emphasized that although Pakistan’s economy has stabilized, the emphasis now needs to be on bringing prosperity and giving young people work opportunities via unrelenting effort.
