All charges against Michael B. Jordan for colliding his Ferrari with a parked automobile in Hollywood have been dropped.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ on Thursday that the investigation into him is over and that he will not face any charges.
The 36-year-old actor seems to have gotten off easy since detectives couldn’t prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he was behind the wheel of the car when the December 3, 2023, collision happened on Sunset Boulevard.
The investigators were unable to determine whether Michael had been speeding before the collision despite later film from the event showing his blue Ferrari racing against another red sports car.
But according to a source who spoke to Daily Mail, the actor was at the wheel of the Ferrari when it crashed.
The most likely offense for the Creed actor, according to law enforcement officials, would have been street racing; however, for that to occur, the police would have required to witness the actor driving at the scene of the crash or get concrete evidence proving his identity as the driver.
Since they couldn’t see the crash scene until after the incident, police were unable to establish if Michael could be charged with speeding.
