In its research report, the Free and Fair Election Network (Fafen) pointed out that in the general elections of 2024, the main political parties mainly held onto their individual and cumulative vote banks in both national and provincial assemblies.
“GE-2024 National and Provincial Elections: Votes Polled and Party Shares in Votes and Seats” is the title of the non-governmental poll observer’s most recent report, which was published on Sunday. It analyzes the representation of political parties in the national and provincial assemblies as well as their shares of the popular vote.
Together, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), and Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) received 68% of the vote in the National Assembly and 62% in each of the four provincial assemblies during the 2024 elections.
